Happy Independence Day America!
So much has happened since I last posted! We moved! We weren't expecting it at all! You see, we live on a nursery now. The company offered us a farm house to us and we gladly accepted! Its much larger than the other house we had AND its set far from the road AND surrounded by nursery trees and crops. We had a doe in our back yard the other night!
Now that we can have 4 legged pets, and there have been many additions to our family of late! Samoa (a Norwegian Forrest cat that actually looks like a Somoa girlscout cookie) Rascal and Bandit (Those two sweet beagle puppies below),and Gizzy and Henny Penny(a rooster and hen). All these in addition to Tweety the parakeet, Nemo the beta and two hermit crabs artfully named by my 6 year old son Spidercrab and Hermy or Soccer Dude. Yep, they have painted shells!
I havent really had much time to needle felt but I have been working on a primitive hooked rug. I designed it my self. Its a sheep with the word wool hooked under it. I know I'm a rug hooking virtuoso, right! I have been super duper busy decorating the new house in primitive country style (hence the hooked rug). Its departure from my shabby chic Wooly World look gives me a way to play with both beautiful styles without clashing in the house!
I am so thankful to be blessed and I thank the Lord every day! I hope everyone has a safe and funtastic 4th! Have fun at the fireworks!
